How the Program Works

The Sun Funds program offers rebates to FPL residential customers of $1.50 per watt on a first come, first served basis. This is a limited time offer as Sun Funds will be distributed until 100 kilowatts (kW) of new solar electric capacity is awarded. Sun Funds are available for systems purchased and installed after December 1, 2007. For all requirements, see our Application page and Terms and Conditions.

To be eligible for Sun Funds, you must first qualify for State rebates offered by the Florida Energy Office (FEO). The State rebate amount is $4 per watt, to a maximum payment of $20,000 for a residential installation.
